Same app. Same team. Same account.

What changed
The name and the app icon. Nothing else. Chinese trademark regulations restrict the use of country names in registered marks, so the app that launched as WanderChina is now published as OrienScope.
It is the same product, built and run by the same person, on the same account system. Our slogan hasn't moved either: Travel China, effortlessly.

A rename is a good moment for imitators. These four identifiers are the official ones — check any of them before you install.

- com.wanderchina.app Yes — the old name. Android package IDs are permanent and cannot be renamed, which makes this the hardest identifier to fake. Open listing

- support@orienscope.app We will never ask for your password or payment details by email.
Why the old name is still in there: an app's store identifiers are locked at first release and stay fixed for the life of the app. Ours were created under the WanderChina name and cannot be changed. That is exactly what makes them useful — a copy of our app can imitate the icon and the listing, but it cannot claim these.
If you already have the app
There is nothing you need to do.
No reinstall. The rename arrives as a normal app update. The icon and name on your home screen change on their own.
No new account. Sign in exactly as before. Your saved trips, itineraries and history are untouched.
No change to what the app does. English map overlay, voice translation and AI itineraries all work the same way, in the same six cities.
Old links still work. Anything pointing at wanderchina.app now lands on orienscope.app.
